Holiday Season 2021 - Holiday Wedding

Saturday, December 19, 2021

Just got home tonight from our friend Alyn's wedding to her new husband Bill. They had a lovely still, clear, peaceful, cold but at least not windy, evening for the wedding which was held at the conservatory in St. Paul. A nice blanket of snow covered the ground. It was nice running into some old acquaintances and friends including Eric V.

Oh, and the moon was full. The December full moon is often referred to as the Cold Moon. Since it's the only full moon in December and pretty close to the big day I'll call it the Christmas moon.

Christmas Day 2015 - Christmas Full Moon

Friday, December 25, 2015

Didn't see the moon tonight as it was overcast so I'm glad we had a chance to see it last night. Visible or not, I was aware of its presence. We'll have to wait 19 years for it to occur on Christmas Day again...

Thursday, December 24, 2015

Dale and I noticed the Christmas (not quite yet) full moon before getting to church tonight. It was spectacular.
