Christmas Season 2023/2024 - 10th Day of Christmas: My Christmas Craft

The 10th Day of Christmas - Ten Lords A-Leaping

Tonight I made my own Christmas craft. It was about as easy to make as it could possibly get.

You put some sugar in a canning jar and stick a Peep in it. I went with the Christmas tree Peep.

It made Sylvester quite curious. He's curious about many of the things I've been setting out but he usually loses interest pretty quickly. Except for the tree. He knows knawing on the branches pisses us off but he only really does it to let us know he's getting hungry. Our boy knows how to get a reaction.

Christmas Season 2023/2024 - 8th Day of Christmas: New Year's Day Part 2

The 8th Day of Christmas

Also took the snowmen on the porch and boxed them back up.

And put some deer and bottle brush trees up instead. Again, I don't have enough room for everything so I'm having to rotate stuff.

Listened to The Nutcracker this afternoon. Dale and I both enjoyed it.

MLK Weekend - Old Twelfth Night

Monday, January 17, 2022

Laid back afternoon once home from the rally.

Had an apple as a nod to Old Twelfth Night.

Listened to Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker.

Simple dinner of burritos.

And we watched episodes of the old Lucy Show on Amazon Prime. What a blast from the past since I haven't seen it since I was a kid.
