Holiday Season 2018 - More Candy Jar

Stopped by The Candy Jar after work and picked up the snowmen I saw in the window yesterday.  The place is old school. It's like walking in to a Hallmark store in the 70s or 80s and they have candy. I've been setting out seasonal stuff this week. Dale told me I'm funny and that it's sweet I'm making the house look so Christmasy. 

I also bought some chocolate covered pretzels.

Also listened to more Christmas music.

Walked by the Candy Jar on the way home from work today. I peeked in the window to get an idea of what they are selling for the holidays. I eyed some nifty snowmen.

As I was walking home from school today on a freakishly warm December afternoon, I decided to check out the Candy Jar to check out there holiday stuff. Picked up a cool mug and some chocolate covered pretzels.

Holiday Season 2015 - Tchotchkes and Pretzels

What a week. School was crazy. On my way home from work today I stopped by The Candy Jar and picked up some tchotchkes (see above). I also picked up some chocolate covered pretzels (see below).  A private school where I used to work years ago used to sell these, among other things, as part of a holiday fundraiser. I always picked up two cans of 'em. It's been quite a few years since I've had any. These were covered with dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate and they were divine.
