Christmas Season 2025/2026 -The Tenth Day of Christmas: Eggnog, Livvy, Old Fashioned, Mom

Had some eggnog left. Added a splash of rum. It was delicious and the eggnog to rum ratio was perfect. 

Listened to a little Livvy. 

Dale and I went to lunch at The Howe. I had an Old Fashioned. It's nice to be feeling well enough to have a cocktail. 

Dale and I went to visit Mom at the hospital. It was my first time there since she was admitted on Sunday. They use this chair to help move to her lounge chair. She's doing well. 

Pre-Holiday Season 2024: Cigars, Bourbon, and a Little Holiday Music

Work's been exhausting this past week. Trying to acknowledge the preparation and anticipation of the upcoming season. 

It's also been quite cold. Bundled up and got outside for a cigar on Thursday and took some bourbon  with me.

Also took the Bose speakout out with me to listen to some music.

So sad that Olivia Newton-John died recently. Her Christmas collection from the turn of the century has been one of my favorites for many years now. 

She has a number of other Christmas recordings that are fun to listen to as well. 

Christmas Season 2013/2014 - Livvy

I'm listening to lots of Christmas music on my day off from school due to the cold. Livvy's always been one of my favorite singers dating way back to junior high. Every Time It Snows, a duet with Jon Secada, is beautiful.
