Traveled to visit Pete's family this year. Emma asked if I could help her make a craft. I was happy to help. She turned out to be quite a good supervisor. When she brought me to her work station I saw that she had laid out all of the pieces and had assessed what she would be able to do and what she needed help with. The foam pieces needed to be punched out and stickers had to be adhered to them. She did well with the bigger pieces but her dexterity wasn't quite up to the smaller pieces and the assembling of the mailbox. You needed to have some pretty refined small motor skills to fit the pieces together. Emma did well with the larger snowman. I ended up doing a lot of it but I was pretty impressed that she was able to ask for help and determine on her own what exactly she could handle and what she couldn't. She's quite the project manager.
